My name is Tiberius, and I work as an independent consultant — currently shipping LLM orchestration, real-time voice AI, and enterprise payments integrations across CommerceTools, Zuora, Salesforce, and Adyen. Most of my recent work lives at the intersection of AI infrastructure (provider fallback, circuit breakers, agent orchestration) and fintech systems for the Brazilian market — PIX, boleto, and Salesforce-driven billing automation.
I have seven years of full-stack engineering experience, with deep work across Python, TypeScript, Node.js, and Go. Before going independent, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Xometry, where I led Kubernetes-based refactors of fulfillment systems and built RMA platforms serving tens of millions of requests.
I studied Computer Science at Fluminense Federal University in Rio de Janeiro, where I ranked second in the federal transfer exam and wrote my thesis on a decentralized voting platform built with Go and Solidity, proposing a tamper-resistant alternative to Brazil's electronic voting system. During my degree I also completed the Confucius Classroom program in partnership with Hebei Normal University, which took me to conversational Mandarin and remains one of the more unreasonable time investments I've made.
Outside of work, I spend an inordinate amount of time reading all kinds of books, as well as sharing knowledge through writing and teaching. I'm unsurprisingly a huge aficionado of languages, which comes in handy during my travels with my beautiful wife.
